Reciprocate Love

Love in every form is good for humans. It is believed that love keeps us alive. It fills life with joy. And we all know that a life without joy is infact no life. But do we reciprocate love? Is it a weird question? No it’s not.

Just think once if you love your family or parents or children or your beloved or lover and they in return don’t reciprocate their love in the same way or other as you do, then how it feels. Feels bad, very bad. Every human being on this earth craves for love. Hatred can stay in heart but not permanently. Heart is a place where love can stay more happily. So, each and every human needs love in his or her life. But the problem is that when it comes to our turn we all forget that as feelings have to be shown in the same way love has to be reciprocated. And love can be reciprocated by love only.

Suppose you arranged a candle light dinner for your husband or your wife, he or she joined you for dinner but didn’t return the warmth of love as you did while planning that dinner. How would it affect you? Are you goning to be hurt? Yes, ofcourse you are.  Because if you don’t get love in return of love then there develops a feeling of emptiness. A feeling which makes you believe that you aren’t loved by the person in the same way as you love him or her. That means your love isn’t reciprocated in the way you expect it has to be. And gradually this awkward feeling of emptiness eats your love and love withers away with time. It may seem a nightmare to you. But my friend it is true. If love is not given love in return then it simply dies with the course of time.

I would love to put an example here. Suppose you grow a plant in your garden and you are happy to have it but if you won’t care for it then some day either it will dry up or die. Don’t you think that if it would have been cared properly then it would have grown and blossomed. Yes, surely it would have. And my friend love is just like this plant. If you feed it with love then it grows and blossoms but if you don’t then it dies.

So, next time when someone shows his or her love for you then don’t forget to reciprocate that love. If you can’t do much then simply use these three magical words,”I love you…!”
